B-HIPsters’ agenda is getting busier and busier as Summer goes!

B-HIPsters - Everything is OK

Our interns attended DownStreet Art big opening on June 24, a kick off happening that brought new people and new faces to appreciate downtown North Adams as well new energy and good art for locals to enjoy.

Beside a tour of all sites they are interning at, beside classes and of course beside work (!!!) as part of the program B-HIPsters have already attended eight outings, among which: the opening of Peta Coyne’s show at MassMoCa; The Wipping Man play at Barrington Stage; A lecture about Moliere and a play named Mengelberg and Malher at Shakespeare & Co.

About DownStreet Art one of our  interns wrote: ‘It was really amazing to see DownStreet Art come alive this weekend, and to see it followed up so successfully by the food festival. I have to admit that I hadn’t anticipated life in North Adams to be so enjoyable, but thankfully I’ve been proven wrong’.
Hanna Pickwell (B-HIP intern at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, Williamstown).
