Summer Course Information
Session A - May 27 - July 3
Session B - July 7 - August 15
There are several courses offered outside the standard summer schedule.
ENGL 303 Writing Prose will be offered from May 19 - May 30
Day Intensive Spanish classes are offered in three-week increments. Fast-Track Intensive Spanish classes are offered in six-week increments. See the coures page for details.
SOCI 360 Women, Movies, TV will be offered from May 19-May 30 and SOCI 357 American Justice System will be offered from June 2 - June 19.
Register by mail, by fax (413-662-5095), or in person at the Registrar's Office, mid-level, Eldridge Hall, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Monday - Friday. Expanded evening hours, until 6:30 p.m, will be held on Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday May 28th; Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th.

Payment must be made at time of registration. Make checks payable to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted. The schedule of fees, tuition, methods of payment and refund policies are those in effect at the time of publication. They are subject to change without notice.
Undergraduate Tuition: $177.34 per credit.
Summer Program Fee: $40.00 per credit.
Refund Information
Withdrawls from a course requires formal written notification to the Registrar's Office. Informal notification to the instructor and/or non attendance does not meet the requirement for withdrawl and the student will not be entitled to a refund. No expectations to this policy.

One, Two and Three Week Seminars
Full refund to the Friday before the first meeting, thereafter, fees are not refunded; tuition refund is prorated as follows:
Before 2nd class convenes - 66 2/3%
After the 2nd class convenes - no refund

- How do I add or drop a course?
Depending on the duration of the course there are different add/drop policies. Students should contact the Registrar's Office for details about a specific course in question.
- What are the dates for Summer courses? What are the deadlines that I need to know about?
Courses are offered on many different dates, times, and delivery methods. The only specifically set dates are the 6 week sessions for some undergrad courses May 27-July 3 and July 7 - Aug 15. However, a number of other courses are offered at other times throughout the summer. See the calendar above for more information
- 6. How do I withdraw from a course?
Again, these dates will vary depending on the duration of the specific course in question. See the withdrawl information above or contact Registrar's Office for more information.
- When is the due date for tuition and fees?
Payment is due at time of registration.
- What are the payment options offered by MCLA?
Students must pay in full at time of registration.
- Is there financial aid available?
Yes, students should contact Financial Aid directly for more information 413-662-5219.
- Where will my bill be sent?
Bills are not sent for summer courses.
- What is the fee to audit a class?
Costs to audit a course are the same as enrolling for credit.
- Is parking available on campus?
Yes, but parking stickers are needed to park in commuter lots.
